Jarkko Tiiro, M.Sc. (Tech) – Power Networks and High Voltage Technology
Electrical Engineering Expert and Technology Consultant
Mr Jarkko Tiiro is an experienced electrical engineer with extensive and diverse expertise in power networks, high-voltage technology, and electrical installation. He holds a Master of Science in Technology from Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, specializing in power networks and high voltage technology. He also has a degree in electrical engineering. In addition, he is a certified electrician with broad practical experience in installation and design in the electrical field.
Mr Tiiro has worked as an entrepreneur and electrical works supervisor at his company, where he has been responsible for the comprehensive management of installation and contracting projects, implementation of electrical and mechanical installations, and consulting services for private and corporate clients. His expertise includes solar power system deliveries, CADS design, KNX building automation, and mastery of electrical safety regulations.
Earlier in his career, Jarkko served as a lecturer in electrical and automation technology at Stadin Ammattiopisto, where he taught future professionals in the electrical field and supervised work-based learning. He has also worked as a research assistant at Aalto University, participating in significant energy research projects, such as the Energizing Urban Ecosystems (EUE) program.
Tiiro's expertise combines a practical approach with deep technical knowledge. He has experience in large infrastructure projects both in Finland and internationally, including working with the GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy electrical engineering team in the United States.
In his free time, Tiiro enjoys strength training, reading, and playing the guitar. He is also an active trainer and mentor, always ready to share his knowledge and experience with professionals in the field.
